Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Most well-known is her being the character Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the main actress in these films. In addition, she appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter, born on January 8th 1977, of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She has a younger sister Danielle, who is an artist. Benson was a member of a Reform Jewish synagogue as she grew in her teens. Her mother, who was Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father, is as well Jewish. Since Buffy came to an end, Benson has been in movies like The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Her creative talents were put to use on Ghosts of Albion, and she also directed Drones (2010). Buffy, after spending the time and effort to locate them, states there are around 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 of them working with their organization, the Scooby Gang. Slayers become active when they are old enough to be a Slayer. Soledad for example became an Slayer when she was sixteen. Ruth Connell plays Rowena, in the Supernatural Season 10 Apparently, Rowena is an ancient witch.
