Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician most well known for her roles in Tamil and Malayalam films. She first made an appearance as an actor in Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was born to a Madras High Court attorney. There is also a younger sister, who is currently working as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah is from Chennai. She went to National Public School, and then graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn piano during her eighth year. At age 10 she was in a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her musical and singing career. Also, she was a theatre student at her school and performed in a variety of stage plays organised in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. She was president of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started the acting profession as a young actress in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She acted in new leo coffee commercial alongside actor Shiva in the year 2006. The actress also appeared in a TV show which aired on Podhigai. She performed throughout India. She played a brief role in Kanda Mudhal, the 2005 final episode. Gautham Menon asked Andrea be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani as a wife and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea was cast in the film following Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. This film released in early 2010. It was first released in the film of Venkat Mankatha in the year 2011, which starred a number of actors. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's love movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
