Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. She's English but her father is Nigerian. She grew in a South London council estate, as a teenager, she 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She studied acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. The stage she appeared in was many productions while attending school like the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi as the main character in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe played the lead role on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy made in 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast at The CW for only two episodes, but it was removed from the air. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge in February of 2011. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode in the season's third. She starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 until 2016. Then, in June of 2012 Madekwe married her long-time boyfriend actor Iddo Goldberg. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a big family from Hamilton, Ontario. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty as well as four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley lived in stadiums or baseball fields because the four brothers who were athletic played hockey and baseball as well as both during spring and summer. Ashley was unable to walk, but could dance. In the end, as she grew older when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer immediately after that. When she was in High School, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop. She was crowned the top individualist in all the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance just to mention a few.
