Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the pop world is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own band, composed of three classmates, which was dubbed the White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. He always had an interest in music but also wanted to pursue a career as a lawyer, physiotherapist or even a scout. Working part-time in a local bakery in his early occupation to earn money for the family. The group performed the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which allowed them to become the frontrunners to win the contest. The group was placed in third position after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell did pay $2 million for One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
